Ag Club Plans Soup, Games for the Public Nov. 30

Three kinds of soups plus a cornhole tournament are planned for the public at the Curtis Community Center on Nov. 30.

Agribusiness Management and other NCTA students in the college's Ag Business Club are planning the soup supper which includes potato, chili, and chicken noodle soups, dinners rolls, and home-baked cookies, said James Lee, club president.

The meal begins at 6:30 p.m. with the cornhole competition starting about 7 p.m., he said. The soup supper is a free-will donation to support business club activities.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in the cornhole tourney. Preregistrations are requested by calling Tanner at (308) 280-0461. Walk-ins may be taken if registered on site during the soup supper.

Club officers of the 2021-22 Ag Business Club are: President James Lee, Sutherland; Vice President Jessica Burghardt, Fedora, S.D.; Secretary-treasurer Moriah Beel, Ainsworth; and Student Senate 1st-year representative Tanner Ostrander, Ogallala.

The dinner is being planned by club members and their faculty advisor Agribusiness Management Professor Mary Rittenhouse.
