Production of fuel ethanol in the United States stayed above 1 million barrels for the 16th consecutive week and decreased when compared to the week before, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

Production averaged 1,035,000 barrels per day for the week ending Jan. 21 compared to 1,053,000 barrels per day the previous week.
